Day 2 - a little cool and a little wet

We are off to a great start today! We survived the all-night thunderstorms to wake up with much colder weather. I have not heard anyone complain about the change in temperatures – it was hot yesterday!

Our small group times continue to be incredible. To hear the Romanian children quote verses in both English and Romanian is awesome. It sounds much, much better than the Americans stumbling through the Romanian version. It is quite humbling to hear little children laugh when you try but in the end it is well worth the effort. Annie Grace just quoted a verse in Romanian to the entire group. That was impressive! A Romanian girl also said the verse in English. How awesome it is to serve a God who has no language barriers. He heard them both the same!

We will have our first afternoon of crafts and recreation here in the next couple of hours. As you get your day started we are halfway through the 2nd day of camp!

We thank you so much for your participation in this blog. To see how many folks had viewed this site encourages our team. Your posts are being shared every day with the team.

I'll post some photos later - they take longer to upload through the satellite modem and it is still raining a little (misting) so I'll try again tonight.

Hello to all of you! How exciting to hear all the details of the trip and how God is already at work. This is truly a blessing to be a part of your everyday. We will keep praying every time you are thought of (which is almost every minute of the day :):))! We will be praying for God to open up the hearts of the children to receive Him, so that they will truly know HIS JOY and the LOVE of their Heavenly Father through Jesus. Praying for you to be in tuned to the Holy Spirit in all of your ways and to have a blast loving on those kids!!!
Kevin and Kelsey- We MISS YOU and LOVE YOU SOOOOOOO very much. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Dear Romanian Team,
Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking
of you and praying for your all the time. Today I am
focusing on asking our Lord to give you strength and
the ability to feel and listen to the Holy Spirit who is
working in and through you. What you are doing for
The Kingdom only the Lord knows, but I feel sure that
these children (of His) will be touched in a powerful
way and will never be the same. Kevin, we had lots
of thunder and lightening in Marion Country last night
also. Maybe to us we are miles apart and our time
zones may be different, but to God - we are not so
far apart after all. Lovingly, Roxanne

Your in my prayers. Rachel

It is so awesome to read all the blo entries about what God is accomplishing through EACH of you there in Romania. It is so humbling to know that He knows each of your names, every prayer that is lifted to Him and the name of every child that you are witnessing to. Tell Theresa I started walking to speed up my sojourn into running again...I walk 2 miles in the morning and I have found that it goes much quicker when I am praying for you guys!!
Love you and praying for you constantly!
Angie

Kevin and Sarah Jo, our Hannah Grace is "pout" right now because you guys are on mission and she doesn't ever get to "go" anywhere! :) She remembers being with all the Bullocks in NM in 05 and then we left for missions full time, but now to her it's a way of life. Oh that the young folks with you will be "on mission" their whole life as a way of life with God! We are trying to teach that to the summer college missionaries here at the camp. Whether in Ocala, in Alaska, or in Romania being "on mission" with Jesus is the ONLY way to live. Prayers lifted right now for each of you. Enjoy the cooler weather - we still haven't had anything higher than 72F this summer!
