First Day in Alaska
After a full day of travelling and a good nights sleep, our first day in Alaska started with breakfast, devotions, testimonies and prayer. We give thanks to our Lord for providing safe travel, fellowship with our extended family here at the camp and to be here on mission getting the camp ready for the summer. Today were able to get 12 cabins cleaned and footings and framing done for a new deck that is replacing one that had seen one too many Alaska winters. Please pray for safe travel for Mike McGinnis who will be leaving Ocala at 4:00 am tomorrow morning to join us on mission.

Glad to hear you made it safe to the camp! Praying for the Lord's will to be done at LGYRC. Odd to be sitting here in FL at this time of year...the camp really grows on you. Praying for comfortable sleep, full bellies and fuller hearts.
Sounds like a great first day. Hope ya'll have a good time in Anchorage today. Don't forget to post some fun and work pics!
So glad to hear that you had good flights. Was thinking about you last night as I was working on my Alaska 09 album. Wich I could have been with you all, but new classes started on 5/12. Rachel, give hugs to the Lorenzs and Chastains for me. I am praying for everyone to see Gods glory in such a wonderful place !!
