Our first day in Cabana

Yesterday was a great first day in Cabana. After a tough combi ride, we got some lunch and rest and then we "hit the streets". Talked with a nurse who the summer missionaries spent time with. She invited us to the clinic and we will head there today. Met some ladies at the shop where you buy combi tickets and both are interested in coming to the Bible studies. Spent time getting some updates on the Bible study group. Met with 2 last night for a great discussion on baptism and other topics. Will be meeting each night this week. Got up early this morning and walked through the town. Met quite a few people, one will come to the Bible study tonight. Got a warm welcome from a former town leader who was very encouraging, even said that we should use the town auditorium and gather a lot of people. He said that the people of Cabana are going to listen and decide.

That`s all for now.

Hi Adam,
Just read your e-mail and you did have a very busy Monday that's great. You sound like you're pretty well rested and eager and excited to hit the streets. Hope you use the auditorium and fill it to capacity.
All is well here. The weather just beautiful today. Had lunch with Aunt Ceal yesterday with Tanya and Beth. I think she's getting settled. Take care. Love, Mom & Dad

Sounds like the team is doing a great job already spreading God's Word. We continue pray for guidance in your words & open hearts for the people you are speaking to. So glad to hear from Jewell this morning & know that you are all feeling better! Keep up the great God's Work that you all are doing!

Adam - it was so good to hear your voice last night. It's pretty cool to hear people asking about those that have been there and spent time among them. May God guide your steps today! Love you.

PS - watched our show last night. Jesse and Aaron got sent home. Bummer!

Good Evening Adam,
Just talked to Allyson and she said she heard from you today and all is well I thank God for that. She mentioned that you guys worked in a lady's field today. Should I call Ms Jaros and make you an appt? Dad and I are anxious for your return and look forward to seeing pictures and hearing the good news.

Love,
Mom
