Over the weekend, the chainsaw/clean-up team and the feeding unit team were both activated to help with the Alabama tornado response. The teams are made up of folks from across Marion County that have been trained through the Florida Baptist Disaster Relief organization.
The feeding unit is in Double Springs, AL. The chainsaw/clean-up team is in Hackleburg, AL, about 55 miles outside of Jasper where the team is being housed. Hackleburg has a population of about 1500 people and they lost 30 people in the tornado. Please pray for these communities and for the men and women that have responded!

Tallahassee is where we are...
We have arrived at the Children's home safely. God has already been so faithful to meet the needs of this team. The makeup of the team is perfect. We will post more later as we get settled in.
Family Mission Trip - Tallahassee
This morning 17 families headed to Tallahassee, FL to serve at the Florida Baptist Children's Home. The families will help with various projects around the campus. Please pray for all of the grandparents, moms, dads and kiddos as they seek to strengthen their families through service and demonstrate Christ's love to the children and staff at FBCH.
